Founders of the French punk rock scene in Montpellier in 1984, Les Sheriff returned to the stage and the studio after splitting up in 1999.
Formed in Montpellier in 1984, Les Sheriff are regarded as one of the founding bands of French punk rock. Their simple choruses and melodic sound have often drawn comparisons with the Ramones.
After splitting up in 1999, the band re-formed in 2012 for a one-off gig, then went back on the road from 2014, playing Hellfest in 2018 and 2022. It later released a new record on Kicking Records.
