Paris metal-hardcore band steeped in manga culture, Rise Of The Northstar has made its mark internationally with Nuclear Blast.
Formed in Paris in 2008 by singer Vithia, Rise Of The Northstar takes its name from the manga Ken le Survivant and combines crossover thrash, New York hardcore and Japanese aesthetics. After the EPs Tokyo Assault (2010) and Demonstrating My Saiya Style (2012), it signed to Nuclear Blast.
Its debut album, Welcame (2014), was followed by The Legacy of Shi (2018) and Showdown (2023).
