A leading name in French-language metalcore, The Arrs released five albums between 2005 and 2015 and announced its comeback in 2026.
Formed in Paris in 1998, The Arrs (The Alien's Right Respect Sect) sings exclusively in French, a rare choice in metalcore. It released five albums, from …Et la douleur est la même (2005) to Khrónos (2015), by way of Héros assassin (2009).
After several appearances at Hellfest, the band split up in 2017, then announced its reunion in June 2026.
